Daniel was born and raised in Houston, TX. In 2004, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He holds the FINRA series 7 and 66 registrations with LPL as well as Texas state insurance license. Having worked his way through college, he learned the importance of having a sound financial plan in place. With this understanding, Daniel cultivated his aspirations to help others prepare for their futures, allowing them to focus on today.
He started his career in the Life Insurance industry where he learned the importance of risk management and protecting against the “what if’s” in life. Then, he expanded his knowledge to include comprehensive financial planning by joining a firm with a nationally syndicated financial radio show. There he learned the importance of and how to incorporate wealth-building, wealth-protection and wealth-distribution strategies. Through the use of estate planning, tax planning, retirement planning, proper asset allocation for investments and risk management.
Having been a Wealth Manager for over nine years and helping hundreds of families incorporate their life plan with their financial plan, he founded New Heights Wealth Management in late 2014. Taking his Texas roots and knowing the value of trust, he embraces the Texas culture of “doing business with a handshake.”
Daniel has been actively involved in many local philanthropies within his community, but none more so than with Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, for the past 8 years. He’s currently team captain of The Wolves of Wine Street on the Rodeo Wine and Sales Committee. He is also co-chairman of Wh30p! Houston, a social networking opportunity for Houston Area Aggies in their 30’s (ish). All of Wh30p! Houston’s proceeds go towards our Aggie Ring Scholarship. Also, he loves the outdoors and will Golf or Hunt every chance he gets.
